Dielectric Properties of Epoxy / BaTiO3 Composites

Dielectric properties such as relative permittivity (dielectric constant) (ε′) and dielectric loss (ε") of (epoxy resin – barium titanate) composites behaviour as a function of barium titanate volume fractions (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40) vol.%, temperature in the range (30 - 110) ◦C and frequency in the range (120Hz - 2MHz), were investigated and given a qualitative explanation. The permittivity was found to increase with the increase of BaTiO3 filler content, and was high in the low frequency range, but diminishes as the frequency increases. The permittivity was found to increase with the increase of temperature up to the transition temperature (Tg). Ac. conductivity and impedance of the composites behaviours as function of frequency and temperature have also been investigated.

Dispersion Parameters, Optical Constant and Photoluminescence of Poly Vinyl Alcohol Grafted Eosin –Y Dye (PVA-g-Ei)

Optical properties of PVA-g-Ei thin film prepared by cast method have been studied in spectral range of (200-900 nm) .The dispersion of the refractive index is discussed in term of Wlemple - DiDomenico single oscillator model , many dispersion parameters such as single oscillator energy (Eo ), dispersion energy ( Ed ), refractive index ( n(0) ), discussed using Miller’s rule ,the optical absorption at the fundamental absorption edge dielectric constant (  ) ,moment of the dielectric constant optical spectrum( M-1 ,M-3 )and energy gap by Wimple-DiDomenico approximation ( )have been calculated,non linear optical susceptibility ( ) has been discussed , direct energy gap by Tauc relation ( ), energy gap by absorption spectrum ( ) and Urbach energy of the localized states (Eu ) were also calculated . Photoluminescence spectrum of investigated PVA-g-Ei thin film has been recorded in spectral range of (500-700 nm) , photoluminescence quantum yield(PL) and the energy gap at the absorption peak ( ) have been also determined .

Study of Annealing, Hardening and Tempering on Hardness

In this study, the effects of heat treatments annealing ,hardening and tempering on the microstructure and hardness of Mn-Fe Alloy were investigated. The Mn-Fe alloy samples were annealed at 900◦C for 20 min then cooling inside furnace and hardened treatment at 900◦C for 20 min with cooling by water, oil, and salts solution. The specimens were subsequently tempered at temperatures of 100 oC, 290 oC, 350 oC and 500oC. The microstructures, and hardness properties of these samples were analyzed and compared with samples without treatment. The microscopic examinations showed that difference in grains size for samples before and after heat treatments. The result showed that tempering of Mn-Fe Alloy samples (0.3%C) significantly exhibited better hardness as compared with that of Mn-Fe alloy without treatments .

Lattice Thermal Conductivity of Solid Neon

The lattice thermal conductivity of solid neon has been calculated over the temperatures
(0.5-10 K), at molar volume (13.4 cm3/mole) by using Awad model. Taking into account five types of
scattering mechanisms boundary, dislocation, point defects, isotopes and three phonon scattering. Good agreement with the experimental data achieved by using adjustable parameters, maximum conductivity value reached to (307 mW/cm.K) at (3.1 K).

Finding the Best Key Stream by Using Genetic Algorithm for Image Encryption

Because of using images widely in industrial process, it is important to protect the confidential image data from unauthorized access. The RC4 algorithm is selected. The proposed algorithm is used with wavelet transform. The main idea of this paper is to show how genetic algorithm works to give the optimal keys and the influence of each key in the increasing security, several experiments were given to prove that.

Synthesis of Ibuprofen-PEG Prodrug and Study the Hydrolysis at Different Phosphate Buffers

The present study is conducted to prepare Ibuprofen as polymeric prodrug to improve its important physiochemical properties, increasing water solubility
and decrease its side-effects. The product is characterize by using chemical and spectral methods .Then controlled release of Ibuprofen in from its polymer, in different phosphate buffers ( pH =8.5, 7.5 and 1).The result show the percentage release of Ibuprofen was high at basic pH.
